SCHEDULE A TOURHalf-day preschool begins Tuesday, Sept 2.
Here’s what you can expect for your child:
?♀️➡️?♂️ Mastering Lining Up & Activity Transitions
Your child will practice lining up, walking with the group, and moving between activities smoothly and safely.
? Growing Listening Ears for Learning
We’ll help children focus their attention by listening to simple instructions and learning to follow one-step directions.
? Restroom Routines
With gentle reminders, we’ll help your child feel confident using the restroom and washing their hands independently.
? Practicing “Please” and “Thank You”
We reinforce the use of polite words to build respect and gratitude in daily conversations.
? Making Friends with the Golden Rule
Your child will learn the value in treating others the way he or she wants to be treated.
? Building Hand-Eye Coordination
Your child will improve coordination, control, and fine motor skills through ordinary and niche activities.
? Fun With Numbers
Your child will count out loud, sort objects, compare sizes, and begin to recognize written numbers.
? Phonics & Pre-Reading Skills
Your child will begin learning the sounds letters make, combining them for simple words, and recognizing them by sight in a consistent but pressure-free way.
? Healthy Fruit Snacks
We serve fresh, nutritious fruit (mostly organic) that kids your child will like — midmorning for fueling fun and learning.
We will follow a set schedule every day.
Drop off: 8:45-9am.
School: 9-9:35am. Singing, Reading, Writing, Circle Time, Numbers.
Snack: 9:40-10:00am. Fruit, provided.
Play: 10:00-11:00. Outdoors (barring extreme weather). If indoors, drawing, cutting paper, tying knots, dress up, puzzles. Your child will have the freedom to choose what he or she likes.
We will use Montana’s Early Learning Standards (MELS) as a reference tool throughout the year.
