We bought a table for the annual Preschool Fair at the Metra.
This year’s crowd was larger than I remember in the past.
Many attend this event quite casually, stocking up on information long before their child is ready to attend preschool or daycare. It gives us a chance to make an impression and get on the radar. That by itself, though, is not always worth the effort.
What’s better is connecting with a parent who’s looking for something in the near future. I chatted with a few of those parents and got to understand their interests a little better.
Parents today are beginning to understand how important it is to ditch the screens and play hard outside.
Hopefully, one, two, or three of those kids drop in for a tour.

Had to think about it. Who’s got the time?
After a few days thinking on it, I said yes.
It was a blast (even though we went 0-6 in our non-score-keeping games!).
